We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our client’s team as a Garage Equipment Installation Engineer.
4 Day Working Week!
This is a great opportunity to begin or build upon a career in the automotive industry, working hands-on with garage equipment in car workshops across the UK.
Please note: This role involves being away from home 3 nights a week (Monday–Thursday), every week. Accommodation and expenses are covered.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Assist with installations of garage equipment such as vehicle lifts, tyre changers, wheel balancers, and alignment systems

Work from technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and alignment

Learn on the job alongside experienced engineers

Attend training sessions to stay up to date with the latest tech

Help maintain documentation and learn to complete necessary paperwork
What We’re Looking For:

A technical mindset – basic understanding of mechanical/electrical systems and a strong willingness to learn

Problem-solving ability – able to follow instructions and develop troubleshooting skills

Physically capable – comfortable lifting equipment and working with your hands

Good communicator – able to work well with team members and speak confidently with clients

Attention to detail – committed to high standards in every install

Reliable and proactive – punctual, dependable, and ready to take initiative as you grow into the role
Pay & Perks:

£28,000 Starting Salary
-
Plus: ~ on average £4,000 per year in voluntary overtime
-
4-day working week: Monday–Thursday

Annual “working away” bonus: £1,000–£4,000 (based on service length)
