Installation Engineer

We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our client’s team as a Garage Equipment Installation Engineer.

4 Day Working Week!

This is a great opportunity to begin or build upon a career in the automotive industry, working hands-on with garage equipment in car workshops across the UK.

Please note: This role involves being away from home 3 nights a week (Monday–Thursday), every week. Accommodation and expenses are covered.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assist with installations of garage equipment such as vehicle lifts, tyre changers, wheel balancers, and alignment systems

• Work from technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and alignment

• Learn on the job alongside experienced engineers

• Attend training sessions to stay up to date with the latest tech

• Help maintain documentation and learn to complete necessary paperwork

What We’re Looking For:

• A technical mindset – basic understanding of mechanical/electrical systems and a strong willingness to learn

• Problem-solving ability – able to follow instructions and develop troubleshooting skills

• Physically capable – comfortable lifting equipment and working with your hands

• Good communicator – able to work well with team members and speak confidently with clients

• Attention to detail – committed to high standards in every install

• Reliable and proactive – punctual, dependable, and ready to take initiative as you grow into the role

Pay & Perks:

•  £28,000 Starting Salary 

• Plus: ~ on average £4,000 per year in voluntary overtime

• 4-day working week: Monday–Thursday

• Annual “working away” bonus: £1,000–£4,000 (based on service length)
